================================================================================
ARTICLE 1 — DEFINITIONS
================================================================================

1.1 “Work” means the ALU GUBI CLI industrial distribution and related materials
    made available under this License, including without limitation encrypted
    binaries, stubs, release manifests, Homebrew formulas, documentation,
    operator guides, websites, and associated cryptographic seals, whether in
    Source form (if any) or Object form.

1.2 “Object form” means any form resulting from mechanical transformation or
    translation of Source form, including compiled binaries, encrypted envelopes,
    packaged tarballs, and installable artifacts.

1.3 “Source form” means the preferred form for making modifications, if and when
    Licensor elects to disclose such form. Nothing in this License obligates
    Licensor to disclose Source form.

1.4 “You” (or “Licensee”) means an individual or legal entity exercising
    permissions under this License, including Operators and Contributors.

1.5 “Operator” means a Licensee that installs, executes, deploys, or operates
    the Work primarily for use (including GO/NGO field deployment), without
    redistributing modified Object forms as a new public supply chain.

1.6 “Contributor” means a Licensee that submits patches, documentation,
    issues, reviews, support resolutions, or other authorship that is
    incorporated into, or used to improve, the Work, whether or not Source form
    is public.

1.7 “Credit” means attribution to Licensor and, where applicable, valued
    micropayment or other consideration under Article 5.

1.8 “Provenance Controls” means mechanisms that establish authenticity,
    integrity, traceability, or authorized execution context of the Work,
    including cryptographic signatures, checksums, sealed manifests,
    attestations, watermarks, audit logs, and hardware-backed verification.

1.9 “Micropayment Channel” means a payment or rewards rail designated by
    Licensor for Credit, including those listed in Schedule A.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 2 — GRANT OF LICENSE
================================================================================

2.1 Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, Licensor hereby grants
    You a worldwide, royalty-bearing-as-to-Credit, non-exclusive, non-transferable
    (except with a permitted redistribution of an unmodified Object form),
    revocable-for-cause license to:

    (a) use and operate the Work in Object form;
    (b) copy and redistribute the Work in unmodified Object form, provided that
        You preserve all copyright notices, this License, Schedule A, Provenance
        Controls metadata, and accompanying notices;
    (c) study publicly disclosed documentation accompanying the Work; and
    (d) as a Contributor, submit contributions under Article 7.

2.2 No trademark license is granted except for reasonable attribution naming
    “CCSL”, “Chandra Credit Software License”, “ALU GUBI”, or Licensor’s name
    solely to identify the Work and this License.

2.3 Except as expressly stated, no other rights are granted, whether by
    implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 3 — CONDITIONS PRECEDENT AND COVENANTS
================================================================================

3.1 Attribution. You must give appropriate Credit to Licensor in any
    redistribution or public deployment description, including a URI to this
    License and to the conditioning share identified in the preamble.

3.2 Integrity of Object Form. You may not strip, forge, bypass, or disable
    Provenance Controls, including ML-DSA/ML-KEM release seals, SHA-256 pins,
    Homebrew checksums, watermarking, or audit-logging facilities, except as
    required for lawful security research disclosed privately to Licensor and
    not used to distribute unauthorized derivatives.

3.3 No Unauthorized Derivatives in the Public Supply Chain. You may not
    distribute modified Object forms, re-encrypted counterfeit artifacts, or
    decompiled redistributions that purport to be official ALU GUBI CLI releases,
    without prior written permission from Licensor.

3.4 Binary-Only Policy. Where the Work is offered as a one-way encrypted binary
    distribution, You acknowledge that absence of public Source form is an
    intentional licensing and supply-chain control, not a defect of title.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 4 — DEFENSIVE LICENSING ARCHITECTURE (NORMATIVE)
================================================================================

4.1 Normative Conditioning. The OpenAI ChatGPT note identified in the preamble
    is incorporated as a normative construction of this License. The Work shall
    be understood and used as a defensive licensing / anti-piracy architecture.

4.2 Required Framing. Licensees shall treat the following as authorized
    protective purposes of the Work and its Provenance Controls:

    (a) hardware root of trust and authorized hardware attestation;
    (b) code and artifact provenance;
    (c) watermarking and traceability; and
    (d) audit trails and operator-visible edge logging.

4.3 Prohibited Framing and Misuse. You shall not characterize, market, or
    employ the Work as a “rootkit” or as malware-like unauthorized persistence,
    concealment, or hostile control of a host system. Provenance Controls are
    licensed solely for authenticity, Credit, and defensive licensing—not for
    unlawful interception or surreptitious takeover.

4.4 Operator Duty. Operators shall preserve audit and attestation outputs
    reasonably necessary to demonstrate authenticity of deployments under this
    Article.

4.5 Contributor Duty. Contributors shall not submit code or documentation that
    instructs or facilitates bypass of Provenance Controls, except coordinated
    vulnerability disclosure to Licensor.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 5 — CREDIT, VALUATION, AND MICROPAYMENTS
================================================================================

5.1 Principle. “Give credit where credit is due.” Use of the Work, repeated
    execution of credited modules, and reuse of Contributor resolutions create
    a Credit expectation consistent with CCSL community practice (“Do It Once,
    and Pay Forever” as to recurring value of a durable resolution).

5.2 Operator Credit. Operators redistributing or commercially deploying the
    Work shall provide attribution and are requested to remit micropayments or
    donations via a Micropayment Channel in Schedule A, scaled to impact and
    frequency of use where practicable.

5.3 Contributor Credit. When a Contributor’s resolution, patch, or documentation
    is reused, Licensor and redistributors are requested to value that
    contribution (including recurring value upon replay of the resolution) via
    a Micropayment Channel, without requiring a percentage royalty back into a
    repository treasury unless separately agreed.

5.4 Valuation Heuristics (Guidance). Without limiting Article 5.1, parties may
    consider impact, simplicity, cleanliness, comment quality, creditability,
    novelty, fluid communication, time-to-resolution, and expertise when
    assessing Credit—concepts originating in CCSL-0.1 and restated here as
    non-exclusive valuation guidance.

5.5 No Waiver by Non-Payment. Failure to receive a requested micropayment does
    not waive Licensor’s rights under Articles 3, 4, and 8, but payment and
    attribution evidence may be considered in good-faith compliance assessments.

5.6 Trinity of Good CCSL Practice. Contributions and operator materials should
    aspire to: (a) Code that is pedagogical rather than opaque spaghetti;
    (b) Service that permits good-faith feature discussion; and (c) Comments
    that clarify rather than obscure.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 6 — OPERATORS
================================================================================

6.1 Operators may install the Work via Licensor’s designated supply chain
    (including Homebrew taps and GitHub Pages release artifacts) and operate it
    for lawful GO/NGO and related purposes.

6.2 Operators shall not publish alternate public download channels for modified
    binaries that compete with or impersonate Licensor’s canonical releases.

6.3 Operators shall include this License and Schedule A when bundling unmodified
    Object forms into larger distributions.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 7 — CONTRIBUTORS
================================================================================

7.1 By submitting a contribution, You grant Licensor a perpetual, worldwide,
    irrevocable license to use, modify, and relicense Your contribution as part
    of the Work under CCSL-1.0a (or later CCSL versions published by Licensor).

7.2 You represent that You have the right to submit the contribution and that
    it does not knowingly include unlawful or malicious capabilities contrary
    to Article 4.

7.3 Contributor Credit shall be requested in accordance with Article 5.3 when
    resolutions are replayed or merged.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 8 — TERM, TERMINATION, AND REMEDIES
================================================================================

8.1 This License continues until terminated. Your rights under this License
    terminate automatically if You materially breach Articles 3 or 4 and fail
    to cure within thirty (30) days after notice, or immediately for willful
    circumvention of Provenance Controls or distribution of counterfeit
    artifacts.

8.2 Upon termination, You must cease redistribution of the Work, except for
    archival copies required by law or internal compliance holds.

8.3 Articles 1, 4.3, 5, 9, 10, and Schedule A survive termination.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 9 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
================================================================================

THE WORK IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU BEAR ALL
RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 10 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
================================================================================

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY
INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS
OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF THIS LICENSE OR THE USE OR
INABILITY TO USE THE WORK, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF
ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

================================================================================
ARTICLE 11 — MISCELLANEOUS
================================================================================

11.1 Entire Agreement. This instrument, including Schedule A and the normative
     conditioning URI in the preamble, constitutes the license terms for the Work.

11.2 Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder
     continues in effect.

11.3 No Partnership. Nothing herein creates a partnership, joint venture, or
     employment relationship.

11.4 Governing Language. English controls.

11.5 Versions. Licensor may publish later CCSL versions. This Work is licensed
     under CCSL-1.0a unless a later version is expressly declared for a release.

11.6 Historical Inspiration. CCSL-0.1 @ bcb0b89 is cited as inspiration only;
     the operative text for this Work is CCSL-1.0a.
